ISO Registration Indicates Commitment
to Quality and Continual Improvement
Clarion Safety Systems, LLC, is a registered ISO 9001:2008 provider through
BSI Management Systems America, Inc.
The registration means that Clarion complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008
for its quality management system. Clarion holds certificate number FM 538081.
The designation covers Clarion's design, manufacture and distribution of safety
and identification products, both nationally and globally. The registration is confirmation
of the company's longstanding commitment to continually improving its quality systems,
said Geoffrey Peckham, Clarion CEO.
The registration follows extensive audits and reviews, including on-site audits,
of Clarion's design, manufacturing and fulfillment procedures.
Clarion's commitment to consensus standards is longstanding. The company was an
early leader in adopting the latest consensus standards for safety markings, especially
the ANSI Z535 standards regarding safety colors, safety labels and safety signs.
Mr. Peckham is currently chairman of the ANSI Z535.2 Standard on Environmental and
Facility Safety Signs subcommittee, and has been a member of the Z535 committee
since 1992. He also is chair of the U.S. TAG to ISO/TC 145, and so is extensively
involved in worldwide standards development, as well.
