Path Marking / Forklift / Clearance Safety Signs
Proper marking of pathways and forklift routes can help alert workers to locations
where caution is needed. Note that any sign intended to be seen by the operators
of forklifts will need to be large in format, as the operator will typically be
some distance away from the sign and the forklift truck may be in motion. Signs
can also serve as reminders, reinforcement of the OSHA-required training for forklift
operators about proper procedures regarding brake setting, observing speed limits
and slowing down on wet surfaces.
Likewise, signs about overhead or side clearances can alert workers to avoid collisions.
All of these signs can be tailored to include the measurements or clearance restrictions
of your facility.
