Coming Together to Help Prevent Drowning

Posted by Clarion Safety Systems | 4th Apr 2017

Every day in the U.S., about 10 people die from unintentional drowning. Children one to four years of age have the highest drowning rates; in that age group, drowning is responsible for more deaths than any other cause except birth defects, the CDC reports. It can happen quickly and quietly – with devastating effects.

We understand that nothing is more important than keeping the patrons at your pool safe. At Clarion, that’s our passion: keeping people safe from harm. It’s why we teamed our safety communication expertise with the knowledge of a leading aquatic safety expert to create a breakthrough pool safety sign system product line.

And, it’s why we partner with other likeminded associations, like the National Drowning Prevention Alliance (NDPA), to promote water safety. We’re proudly joining the NDPA next week in Pittsburgh, PA at its 16th annual educational conference, focusing on “The Next Generation of Water Safety”.

Clarion will be a featured presenter as well as an exhibitor, showcasing the power of effective pool safety sign systems as a layer of protection to keep swimmers safe.

Drowning Prevention Signs

Our Director of Facility Safety Products, Derek Eversdyke, and co-developer of Clarion’s pool safety sign system, Tom Griffiths, will be speaking about “Expert Sign Systems to Prevent Drowning.” If you’re attending the NDPA conference, we hope you’ll join us.

This is the time to take preventative measures – in order to avoid reactive ones. We’re here as your resource for pool safety signs and best practices. Learn more today!
