In order to create a customized tag that best meets your needs, our custom templates are broken out by signal word to indicate varying risk severity levels: Danger, Warning, Caution or Notice. As a reference, please see the ANSI Z535 signal words and definitions, below.
- DANGER: indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in serious injury or death. Its use should be limited to the most extreme situations
- WARNING: indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in serious injury or death
- CAUTION: indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in minor or moderate injury
- NOTICE: indicates information considered important but not directly hazard-related
