Welcoming Hundreds of New Designs to Our Floor Marking Catalog

Posted by Clarion Safety Systems on 24th Jun 2021

Here at Clarion Safety, we're pleased to report that we've expanded our floor marking product line to add hundreds of new best practice decals and designs. Floor markings are an effective, versatile tool to communicate with customers, visitors, or staff. When you need to clearly inform others about safety and instructional information or organize and direct pedestrian traffic, our floor markings offer critical visual cues and reminders and are expertly designed to meet your needs.

Clear Communication is Key
The main benefit of floor markers – also known as floor decals, floor signs, or floor stickers – as a type of visual safety communication is that they serve as an effective reminder of safety measures without taking up space near other signs mounted on walls. That more traditional way of posting signs on walls is widely used – at times leading to competing messages and clutter, which can make noticeability and true awareness more difficult.

In addition to providing instructional messaging, floor markings are also used to section off certain areas, identify storage spaces, and highlight hazards. The hazards that they warn about can be serious, ranging from electrical to construction to crush hazards, making clear communication key. Suitable for a variety of industrial and nonindustrial environments, our floor markings are regularly used in offices, medical settings, retail establishments, and manufacturing facilities.

Our floor marking product line has become even more robust with nearly a hundred new base designs, each with varying options for sizes, shapes, and eye-catching colors with luster finishes. These products take safety communication to another level, meeting a wide range of communication needs, all while incorporating standards-based design elements from. Designed to Last
Built using durable, high-quality materials, floor markings are simple to understand and provide long-lasting use in high traffic environments. The removable adhesive in our floor signs and decals (note that the adhesion of our floor tapes , by contrast, is permanent) allows you to easily rearrange or replace the markings as needed, while the vinyl’s resistant properties offer protection against slips, scuffs, strong chemicals, and cleaners, and can even withstand temperature fluctuations from -40 to 180 degrees Fahrenheit – ensuring that your graphics remain blemish-free and professional looking.

Easy to Use
As mentioned above, the removable adhesive in our floor markings allows you to easily rearrange or replace the markings as needed. The 5-step application process is as follows:

  1. Clean the surface where the decal will be applied. Be sure to remove any dirt, grease, or dust that will prevent proper sticking. The surface should be completely dry before application.
  2. Begin to remove the decal’s backing. When removing the backing, it’s best to remove part of it and begin applying the decal to the surface.
  3. Apply a strip of masking tape to the top of your decal and use that to properly position the decal and hold it in place.
  4. Apply pressure. Start in one spot (usually a corner or edge) and begin applying pressure using your hand or a squeegee, gradually working your way across the entire decal.
  5. Remove all backing as you apply the remaining portion of the decal. Use a squeegee to remove any minor air bubbles.
