About Jason Linton

Safety Assessment Leadership and Engineering Background
Jason Linton is a Director of Safety Assessment at Clarion Safety Systems and Machine Safety Specialists (a Clarion Safety Systems Company) and has more than 15 years of experience with safety systems for industrial machinery, processes control, compression systems, and power generation. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Ohio University. Additionally, Jason is a TÜV Certified Machine Safety Engineer (CMSE®).
Global Safety System Design and Consulting Experience
Jason provides safety surveys and reports for industrial plants/machinery, consultation for abatement and prevention of OSHA violations, and control reliability studies. Jason has specified, designed, or commissioned more than 100 safety systems globally, including in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, the UK, and several other countries.
Risk Assessment and Standards Compliance
Jason primarily works with industrial clients and OEMs to review drawings, perform risk assessments, and ensure compliance with the ANSI B11, NFPA 79, OSHA 29 CFR 1910 Subpart O, or ANSI/ISA-84 standards. As an experienced control system engineer, Jason enjoys working with clients to perform detailed reviews of control system/guarding plans, ensure compliance with applicable standards, and improve workplace safety.
