Electrical Lockout Tagout Labels

Since the late 1980s when OSHA’s lockout/tagout (LOTO) rules went into effect, Clarion Safety’s electrical safety labels have been widely used by equipment manufacturers to inform those who use or maintain the equipment that they need to follow lockout procedures before servicing. Compliance with lockout/tagout procedures and standards set forth by OSHA prevent an estimated 120 fatalities and 50,000 injuries per year. These rules are meant to prevent against hazardous energy dangers originating from electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, chemical, and thermal sources within machinery.

Each of these label designs incorporates “lockout procedures” or “lockout/tagout” as the hazard avoidance statement in the label’s word message. In addition to warning about proper LOTO procedures, employers are also required to train each worker in carrying out each task.

Finding the lockout/tagout label that meets your specific requirements is easy, as we offer symbol only, text only, multi-symbol and text, and symbol and text formats, as well as indoor and outdoor options.  Browse the labels here in our catalog, or create your own to include any additional requirements you may have.
