How to Create Your Own Custom Bilingual Safety Label or Sign

The Importance of Bilingual Safety Messaging

As workplaces become increasingly more diverse, tailoring safety messaging to multicultural audiences is becoming the norm across all industries. By nature, safety visuals are effective only when the audience is able to understand and implement the conveyed directives. As safety concerns everyone at your facility, including employees, contractors and visitors, it’s important to ensure that all people are aware of potential equipment, product and workplace hazards to help prevent accidents and reduce liability risk. Precaution is key when it comes to keeping people safe, and offering custom safety messaging in multiple languages is an effective measure against potential hazards and allows you to display messaging specific to your facility – in thirty-two available secondary languages.

Leaders in safety compliance and visual safety communication, Clarion Safety Systems provides high quality custom bilingual safety labels and signs to promote safer working environments and help non-English speakers understand critical safety messaging. Durable material offerings ensure that your products will last and perform in a variety of demanding environments, while Clarion Safety’s thirty years of safety standards expertise ensure that your labels and signs are designed using current safety standards and regulations.

Creating Your Custom Bilingual Safety Labels and Signs
Requiring just a few simple steps, your custom bilingual labels and signs can be created right online in minutes using our ANSI/ISO compliant danger, warning, caution and notice templates. The process of creating bilingual labels and signs is similar, with a few minor differences between material and size options. To start:

1.  Choose your symbol (hazard, prohibition, mandatory or ANSI style)

2.  Enter your English text and choose a secondary language. If you plan to provide the translated secondary language text, choose that option. If you would like your secondary language text to be professionally translated, Clarion Safety can take care of this for a one-time fee.

3.  Select your material and size options. For labels, available materials include indoor and outdoor polyester and sizing options include 8.30” x 2.70”, 6.00” x 2.00” and 4.00” x 1.35”. For signs, available materials include white plastic, white aluminum and flexible polyester and sizing options include 10.00” x 7.00”, 14.00” x 10.00” and 18.00” x 12.00”.

4.  Approve your design

Once your design is approved and your order is placed, Clarion Safety’s state-of-the-art production facility will take care of the printing and shipping elements with expeditious turnaround.
